What To Expect
The Pre-Visit
Welcome, I'm so glad that you're here! I know meeting a new stylist may leave you feeling a little nervous, so I put together this page to help take the pressure and stress out of your first visit.

First, get to know me and browse my service menu to make sure that I'm the right stylist for you.

Ready to book? The "book now" link will direct you to The Collective Hair Studio booking site on Phorest. From there, you can select your services and then choose me, Jane Maldy, as your service provider. You should shortly receive a confirmation text/email from the salon. You will also receive a 48 hours confirmation text/email and a 24 hours reminder text/email.

The Consultation
When you arrive to the salon, you will be greeted by the front desk. I will make my way up to the front to greet you as soon as I am available and will bring you back to my chair.
Consultations are an important part of your service and is something that I do not overlook. A consultation is done prior to each service every single time you sit in my chair to address any new changes throughout your hair journey.

During this time I will ask a lot a questions. Please note, I am NOT judging you. My goal is to get to know you and understand your lifestyle so I can provide you with the best hair care experience possible.

Pictures of hair that you like or pictures of hair that you do not like are great for inspiration.
After Goodbye
Once our visit is over, I will send you home with all my recommendations to maintain your new look at home. Also, with your consent, I may take a few pictures of you new fabulous hair. Do not worry if you are camera shy. I will tell you exactly how to pose.
